Our Position on Copyright

MediaDrop respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our Service to do the same. MediaDrop is a technical utility tool — it does not host, store, or distribute any video content. All video files remain on and are served directly from their original source platforms.

DMCA Notice & Takedown

In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement. If you believe that content accessible through our Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notification to our designated agent containing the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the URL.
  • Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email address).
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Important Note

Because MediaDrop does not host any video content, the appropriate avenue for copyright complaints regarding specific videos is to contact the original platform directly (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Instagram). They have established takedown processes and control the actual content.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to the same email address above with the required DMCA counter-notification information.
