  • URLs you submit: When you paste a video URL, it is sent to our backend server solely to process your download request. We do not store or log these URLs after the request is complete.
  • Server logs: Our server may temporarily log IP addresses and request metadata as part of standard web server operations. These logs are not retained longer than 7 days.
  • Analytics: We may use privacy-friendly analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand general traffic patterns. No personal identifiers are collected.
  • Cookies: We do not use tracking cookies. We do not use advertising cookies.

3. What We Do NOT Do

  • We do not store, archive, or host any video files.
  • We do not require account registration or collect personal information such as name, email, or payment details.
  • We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.
  • We do not use session cookies or persistent tracking mechanisms.

4. Third-Party Services

MediaDrop uses the following third-party infrastructure:

  • Vercel: Hosts our frontend. Subject to Vercel's privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare: Provides DNS and CDN services. Subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy.
  • Google Fonts: Used to load web fonts. Google may log font requests per their privacy policy.

5. Children's Privacy

MediaDrop is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of MediaDrop after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
